Roxanne Sancto

Kicking and screaming inside her mothers womb, Roxanne must have realized that she didn’t have a pen and paper to write about the experience.

That is just the kind of person she is; the girl that has about 2000 ideas by the minute and if you can keep up she will tell you all about them.
A freelance journalist with an honours diploma in Music and Arts Journalism from the London School of Journalism; Roxanne devours anything that has to do with literature, music, arts and sweet tasty treats..
A book worm some would say but rather a book glutton when it comes down to it, yet Roxanne’s creativity goes beyond just receiving information; she also creates and occasionally burps. Roxanne is the co author of The Pink Boots and is working on another novel: Jenny Blaze and her friendly Therapists and a cartoon called The Adventures of Kyle the kid.
Her cerebral hyper activeness have made her a true gem in many websites were she does freelance writing; most recently for Spectrum Fm.

Martin Tarte

Martin and I met in a head shop in Estepona, where he was working at the time. With a headful of dreads and a mouth sporadically producing lyrics of all kinds in such calm a fashion he almost seemed high, this guy struck me as a creative character.Creative enough to become a housemate of sorts. When he told me he had fled Panama and the co-operate world where he had majored in Marketing to move to Madrid and pursue a course in Creative Writing, I thought it was another one of his strange jokes. Like the one about him being 20. Imagining Martin in a meeting full of suits is like imagining Eddy Vedder auditioning for The Backstreet Boys. And him stringing more than three sentences together that are not revolved around the likes of Pearl Jam, Leo Messi, Sex or whatever cause he felt passionate about at that moment in time…well I couldn’t fathom it…Let alone a book! But there you go, I was proven wrong about a man once again.
Whether it was poetry neatly printed on one of his many superb graphic designs or reading another one of his beautifully blunt and humorous overly-opinionated articles – his writing had me hooked intellectually and emotionally. Especially whilst writing The Pink Boots, many a time his chapters would move me to tears or bouts of laughter. I believe the people who have read his previous novel Nos Reservamos el derecho de admision and The Pink Boots will be able to relate to that. He is a truly insightful and inspiring writer.
